There are literally thousands of generator makes and manufacturers out there. This gets confusing! It would be real nice if they would standardize these products, but there is no industry rule requiring it. NFPA 110, 99, and 70 rules provide some standardization, but not enough to regulate the industry.
I provide basic information on most common systems and specific information on some. While I cannot tell you how to make repairs or do installations, I can outline installation issues, provide details about code requirements, and give you insight about industry practices.
